This has been a rough month for me.  I found out while I was at convention in Vegas that my grandmother passed away.  I was dissapointed and sad that I could not be there to say goodbye, but so thankful to be able to give mygrandpa a hug and a kiss and reconnect with the family.  It was long overdue.  I love to visit Texas but it was so hard to fly home on Friday, shoot my Easter Bunny photos with Pet Social Worker on Saturday and then have to fly out first thing Sunday at 4am.  So difficult.  So, I apologize for my lack of blogging and I promise to get back to basics.

Here is a classic portrait of my grandma and grandpa… aren’t theydolls?

This family had such a wide varitey of ages!  I was shocked to see how long the baby slept through everything and all the noise!  I know mom from a Christmas engagement from the previous two years and I was thrilled to finally get to meet her wonderful family!  The kiddos were very well behaved and super cute!  What more can you ask?  Well, the adults were a little silly, but what do you expect!??!?!  😉

We love this family.  Every year we get to donate to a wonderful cause, and Miss Pat is one incredible woman!  She works hard every day to support abused women in our communities.  God Bless you Pat!

We spent a few hours scouting out some places throughout Casa Grande to shoot her family.  It had to be something outdoors, yummy with colors, and convenient for all to meet at.  Well, even though they had a picnic planned for after the photo shoot, things did NOT go as planned and we had a HUGE storm blowing in as we rushed through the pictures as fast as we possibly could!  Hair was whipping the girls AND the guys in the face!  But since some of them lived far away we had to power through!  As I am driving home … I cannot believe the storm that is rolling in!  I am glad we got done when we did! 

I got to meet her lovely family that included a wonderful mix of kids and their spouses and grandkids!  Such a wonderfully well behaved group of kiddos!  I have to tell ya!  I really enjoyed their sense of humor!

My little sweetie came in today and she was such a doll.  I know it seems weird to have a favorite photo that you cannot see the faces… but I am in LOVE with this moment!  There is nothing sweeter than a baby hugging their mom and playing peek a boo!

I am gonna miss this little girl coming in every three months.  She is so precious and her eyes are soooo crystal blue!  Thank the Lord for little girls!
