I FINALLY have my blog back up and running. It may take me some time to get into the habit of posting again, but I am so excited to try. I cannot tell you how much I have missed this and I think it will be an uplifting thing for me to maintain. (Let’s hope I keep this momentum!)

We had the wonderful opportunity to attend Kids’ Day in Maricopa, AZ on Saturday. It was a lot of work, but a blast! The MPD fingerprinted the children and Amy Jamieson Photography took snapshots of their faces to attach to the fingerprint card to provide a strong document for children that may turn up missing (Let’s pray NOT!) Most of the kiddos are ones we have seen and met in the past, but we were so thankful to see so many new little faces this year as well!
We were so swamped with so many kiddos that we never had a chance to walk around and take pictures like we had intended! But we were so thankful that the clowns… (Not Dr John and May… hehe) came to see us! We loved the little shot we got and how cute are they? The Maricopa Police Department is “responsible” for their shenanigans but in a good way! Sgt Pepper and Goober took the time to teach our children about stranger danger and the importance of staying safe! Such happy guys and REALLY a blessing to Maricopa!
I hope you enjoy their sweet faces as much as the children did!

This weekend our community lost two wonderful young people. Ariel and Alex were highschool sweethearts and were on their way home to visit their moms for Mother’s day this week. They never made it home. Please take the time to pray for their families in their time of loss. I cannot imagine losing a child. And these two families lost so much this week.
Ariel was such a beautiful and kind young lady. No matter if you were a friend or you just met, she treated you with kindness and love.

Senior boys are very fun to photograph if they come in realizing that they are doing this for mom and it will all be over soon! *D* brought in his smile and some fun props and really gave it a great effort!!! Isn’t he handsome? What a well mannered young man!

*K* is such a cute girl and I have to say she HOLDS the record for items of clothing! Mom and daughter made three trips to and from the car with all of her clothes, shoes, jewelry, and roping gear! Thank the LORD for pretty girls! I have to tease her and tell her that she broke my camera with all that gear though…. It was dern worn out!

I looove rodeo girls! And I sure do my fair share! I love to see them come in all doozied and dolled up and then see them get dirty outside with their horses!
