I FINALLY have my blog back up and running. It may take me some time to get into the habit of posting again, but I am so excited to try. I cannot tell you how much I have missed this and I think it will be an uplifting thing for me to maintain. (Let’s hope I keep this momentum!)

We limit how many weddings we do a year and I have already met my quota minus 1! This wedding was so much fun, and once the wind died down and the bride was less anxious about her hair and stuff… she really let loose and ALMOST let me do everything I wanted! haha Love ya Melinda!

What can I say? Can you just SEE the trouble this young man has gotten himself into? A lovely fiance and a bright future ahead of them! Haha These two hold a very special place in our hearts (they must if they got me to agree to do their wedding!) and I cannot wait to see *M* on her wedding day in her gown.

So this lovely couple came all the way from Canada to get married here in our lovely little city! I felt so bad because it was so windy out on their wedding day. We did everything we could JUST to keep her veil from flying up like a cloud in the sky! And patchy light? The darn clouds would NOT stay still! ha! So we went with it and had some fun! It was soo fun to have a couple that gave me time to get down and dirty (literally!) and go to pretty places to shoot!
I could not have asked for a nicer couple or a nicer family! These are quick edits and I hope you love them as much as I do! I can’t wait to show the family!

Love was totally in the air! It was really lovely to be in the presence of this couple. They loved each other completely and it showed in the ceremony! All of their family was very welcoming and very sweet!
The weather was rotten and we thought for sure it was going to rain during the ceremony! The clouds were threatening, and it was cold and windy! EEEKS! The heaters would not stay lit, and the candles at the tables that were the main source of light after dark would not stay lit either! It was crazy and COLD! I stayed a little longer than normal and captured some really fun and crazy shots of the family on the dance floor! Well… and crazy formals! I hate traditional shots! So this “not so traditional shot” with the brother of the bride licking the groom’s head made my day!!!!!

All my clients know I have been limiting the number of weddings I do a year and I have really pushed my limit this year! But, when Linda came to me, I knew I could not resist! How could you resist someone this lovely? Her family is just adorable and her husband was such a sweetie. It was a pleasure being a part of their day.
Now I know this is only a peek! But I have gigs and gigs and gigs to go through to be able to show them their images. I have not even begun to dig myself out of their first folder! <sigh> So, be easy on me guys!!!!! :o) This is going to be the fastest 6-8 weeks of my life! ACK!
